Things I will miss: my parents and my brother; my friends; showers (as opposed to dumping pails of water on my head); fresh air; salads; Game of Thrones season 2.
Things I look forward to: meeting most of my relatives for the first time; delicious delicious food; cows on the streets again; Friday prayers if I can go; tea gardens in Sylhet; the beaches and temples of Chittagong; working with BRAC and possible field visits to the village; exploring old Dhaka; shopping for saris; improving my abysmal Bengali; HALAL FOOD EVERYWHERE.

you'll be happy to note that while i'm typing this my friends are trying to convince me to go to a college fundraiser tonight. thats my pg-13 way of referring to a strip club lol. they were quite surprised when i didn't readily agree but i have my reasons. mainly that it's a thursday. in my mind only the most depraved and perverse of society would consider going to a stripclub at any point other than weekend nights, tho i hear they do a pretty good lunch special and a fabulous mothers day brunch lol. but srsly, a stripclub on a thursday? you'll probably end up with all the career woman with stretch marks. lol i prolly sound like a misogynist right now but i'm sure they all have a heart of gold.
ReplyDeletethe second reason i'm hesitant about going is that it's always more hassle than it's worth. last time we went this kid named brian was convinced one of the strippers liked him and was working up the courage to ask for her phone number and i had to sit him down and explain that it was their jobs to make it seem that way. he still ended up spending a hundred dollars and didn't get a number lol. alex also ended up getting a handjob in the backroom, making a mess of his boxers and proceeded to spend 10mins cleaning his underwear in the clubs bathroom only to realize that they're now soaking wet and unwearable so he throws them in the trash in full view of the black washroom attendant who was watching alex struggle. lol i would've given a 5er to know what that black guy was thinking. it would've been amusing if he didn't complain about chafing the entire night.
the only reason i'd go tonight is bcuz dima's bringing his girlfriend lol...it's their 6month anniversary LOL. not even joking. iunno what circumstances led to this but i'm expecting to be entertained lol. i think they did something for valentines day so he had nothing planned for today and when he heard that the boys wanted to go to a strip club he wanted to go too lol and his girlfriends being dragged along since they were supposed to see each other also. i haven't met her yet so today would be the first time, she's afraid to meet me (read that as be judged by me) so dima's never quite found the perfect time to introduce her. tonight would be an amazing first impression, 6 month anniversary at a stripclub lol. i'm hoping she's cool and gives dima hell - i'd love to see him get slapped lol.
anyways stay face and keep me posted.
Tho you're probably better of skipping the fathers day breakfast if you want to avoid a trip to the hospital.
